| The Club meets on the
second Thursday in the month at the Battle of Britain Club in Uxbridge
except for the months of January, June, July, August and September. June, July,
August and September meetings are held at the flying field on the second
Wednesday in the month and no meeting is held in January. Battle of Britain
Club meetings
commence at 8.00pm and field meetings commence at 6.00pm. The club produces a monthly Newsletter to advise
members of the latest news and the arrangements for the meeting. Visitors
are welcome at all meetings except the AGM meeting which is held in
December.
The Battle of Britain Club is situated on the A4020, east of Uxbridge town centre. It is about 5 minutes drive from the M40. From the junction at the new Ickenham underpass on the M40, drive south along Park Road, Uxbridge (B483). You will pass the artificial ski slope and swimming pool on your left. After half a mile you arrive at the large roundabout next to a church that marks the end of Uxbridge High Street. At this roundabout, take the left exit. After 400 yards you will pass the main entrance of the RAF Station. The Battle of Britain Club is on the left 200 yards further on at the traffic lights. |
